Welcome to the brand new online home of THE FIBRE GARDEN. Please bear with us as we create our web shopping environment. Hopefully our products begin to appear here shortly, as we figure out how to work all the bells and whistles and begin taking photographs of the wonderful things arriving daily at our brick-and-mortar store.
THE FIBRE GARDEN is owned and operated by Alan McLean and John Valleau and it lives in our historic home in Jordan Village, Ontario, Canada. We are in the heart of Niagara Wine Country and there are plenty of things to see and do in the village and surroundings.
The shop carries a very wide selection of natural breed-specific rovings, dyed rovings and top, wonderful hand-spun yarns from several different artists, dyes, natural dyes and mordants, drop spindles, hand cards and other gadgets. We are thrilled to be Dealers for Majacraft and SpinOLutions spinning wheels, as well as Louet and Ashford fibres, wheels, looms and more.
Both of us are active on the amazing free website for knitters and other fibre crafts, Ravelry.com and we've also started a Group there for The Fibre Garden. Alan can be found as RareSteek and John as dyeguy.
